OA Winter Council of Chiefs - Jan 25
Winter Council of Chiefs Meeting – January 25th, 2014
The winter Council of Chiefs meeting will be held at the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells, WI beginning on Saturday January 25th, 2014 at 10:00am. – Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, 1305 Kalahari Drive Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965
Purpose: First and foremost, to facilitate inter-lodge communication, idea sharing, to update lodges on new National Order of the Arrow programs, and planning for this year’s conclave. One of the most beneficial elements the Council of Chiefs can offer is a fun, interactive environment where Arrowmen can build friendships and hang out with likeminded individuals and exchange resources. For these reasons, and after consulting the some key lodge leadership, we have decided to hold the Council of Chiefs at Kalahari Resort to help us fulfill this purpose.
Fee: The Council of Chiefs Meeting fee will be $26.00 per person, which includes the meeting space, meeting supplies, and a buffet lunch. Lodges are expected to pay upon arrival, checks should be made payable to Three Fires Council, BSA. ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR WINTER COUNCIL OF CHIEFS
Arrival & Departure Time: The Council of Chiefs starts promptly at 10:00am. Please arrive between 9:30am and 9:45am. This Council of Chiefs will end between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, but no later than 5:00pm on Saturday January 25th, 2012.
Overnight Accommodations: Lodges are responsible for making their own overnight resort reservations; a group block rate is available by calling 877-253-5466 before Thursday December 19th, 2013, the reduced rate cannot be guaranteed after that date. To receive the reduced rate, ask for the OA Section C-7 block. The following standard block room rates allow for up to four occupants per room.
Friday 1/24/2013 - $149.00
Saturday 1/25/2013 - $169.00
