Haunted Hike Service Opportunity for the Order of the Arrow
Our Lodge needs a strong turn out to help make the Haunted Hike a success, so please sign up early to insure that we can make this another great event for the council. Location : Camp Big Timber - Elgin / Register online & check as many work shifts as you are able to assist so we know how many to expect!

2015 OA Dues & Annual Membership
Between October 15, 2104 & January 31, 2015 OA Lodge members in the Three Fires Council have the special opportunity to pay for many of the OA Lodge events with one Annual Membership Fee.
The Lowaneu Allanque Lodge #41 Annual Registration allows you to pay for the 2015 Winter Banquet, 2015 Lodge Pow Wow, 2015 Spring Fellowship, 2015 Fall Fellowship, PLUS pay your 2015 Dues at one time. You will also receive a limited edition 2015 Lowaneu Allanque Patch only available to Annual Registration Members. All of these would cost $130.00 if you register on-site. You save $40.00!
The Annual Registration MUST be received by December 20, 2014 or additional fees will be incurred for the Winter Banquet. This offer will END on January 31st, 2015 You must register for each event that you will be attending at least 2 weeks prior to the event even though the fees are already paid. Indicate on the registration that you paid the Annual Registration. This can be done online. Medical forms or waivers, as applicable, will still be needed AT the specific events as stated for each event.
OA Lodge Leadership Development
At Training Academy on November 8, 2014 - East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane, Aurora, IL 60505
OA Lodge Leadership Development (LLD) Training (8am to 4pm) - Flier with Info This five session course is for OA training for both youth & adult Lodge leaders. LLD (Lodge Leadership Development) is a required class for all Lodge and Chapter officers and their advisers but it is open & encouraged for all OA members to take. The session will consist of topics that we need to discuss to help our lodge run better, such as communication, elections, events, etc. Registration includes patch & lunch & training materials. Please wear your OA uniform & sash.
Brotherhood Conversion at Training Academy (Ceremony assembly is at 1:30pm) Youth & Adult members who did their Ordeal in 2013 or before, may seal their membership in the Order of the Arrow by becoming Brotherhood members. The Brotherhood Conversion Fee was included in your 2013 Ordeal Fee and was paid when the Ordeal was done, so there is no cost to 2013 ORDEAL MEMBERS become a Brotherhood Member. If you did your Ordeal BEFORE 2013, then there is a $20 fee for the sash, etc., payable onsite at the Brotherhood Ceremony. Please pre-register for your Brotherhood by using the OA/LLD Registration above so that we have enough sashes and materials on hand. Youth & Adult members who wish to attend this ceremony & are not attending Training Academy should check in at the registration area to pick up a wrist band & room location for the ceremony. (No fee or registration needed for non-Training Academy Guests. We just have to have you pick up a wristband if you are in the School.) Ceremony assembly is at 1:30pm and will start shortly thereafter.

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow, and is Scouting’s second-largest national event. Over 10,000 Arrowmen from across our nation will gather for an inspirational and unforgettable experience full of fellowship, training, adventure and fun! During NOAC, Arrowmen will participate in a six-day conference which includes top notch training sessions, cool recreational opportunities, patch trading, midway booths, evening shows full of theatrics and special effects, and exciting programs. There will be ceremony and dance teams, Chances to participate in sporting competitions as well as other competitions that our lodge can compete in.
The cost for our council to attend NOAC 2015 is $550 per person. Included in this fee are 6 unforgettable days full of fellowship, training, adventure, & fun!, meals once we arrive at NOAC, plus patches, hat, shirts and other surprises for our contingent (details to be announced as they become available).
NOAC Fee Payment Schedule:
$275 when you sign up online (must be by February 1, 2015)
Additional national late fee of $75 added after Feb 1st
Total payment due by March 31, 2015

These sashes will differ from those currently worn in that the colors are reversed, with a white arrow emblazoned on a red sash. The rarity of the sash is noteworthy, as only those present at NOAC 2105 will receive them
To All Order of the Arrow Committee Members, E-Board Members, Adult Advisers, Chapter Chiefs & all OA Members!
Thursday, November 20, 2014 (every 3rd Thursday of the month UNLESS otherwise noted), there is an Order of the Arrow E-Board Meeting at Bethany Lutheran Church, (8 S. Lincoln St., Batavia, IL). The meeting starts at 7:30pm. All Order of the Arrow members are encouraged to attend, (in uniform and with your OA sash).
Committee Chairs & Chapter Chiefs should prepare a BRIEF report of what their committee or chapter has been doing since the last E-Board meeting. If you are Committee Chair or Chapter Chief & are not sure what you need to do, please work with your adult advisor. If you cannot make the meeting, please work with your Adult Adviser to get a report to the meeting through either them or your designee.
